LET’S CELEBRATE DIVERSITY!

When I was younger, I didn’t think anyone else experienced problems as paralyzing as mine. I was alone in my struggles. No one could understand my challenges. I didn’t have a character to admire as a role model. Books with (dis)abled characters were not easy to find when I was growing up, especially those with invisible (dis)abilities. Now books are changing and new characters are more diverse. Let’s celebrate diversity together–with diversity will come universal acceptances of all of our differences.
